Disrupting Cancer Health Disparities
While cancer treatments have improved over the years, there are still many barriers of entry to to care for many individuals. Community outreach and engagement can help to combat existing health disparities and dismantle myths surrounding many treatable diseases. Through the help of community health workers and dedicated teams, these efforts are bringing health equity issues to the forefront of conversations in healthcare and ensuring a better tomorrow.
